Acer's TPM-based fingerprint solutions complement existing forms of authentication such as tokens and smart cards, increasing network and data security through improved user convenience, eliminate the need to remember passwords and PINs; and reduce the global cost of password management.

 Fingerprint recognition

All Acer notebooks built on Acer's embedded TPM security subsystem feature an integrated biometric fingerprint reader, providing one of the best solutions available to verify an individual's true identify.

Captures fingerprint templates and records up to ten fingerprints for different levels of security required.
